Privacy Policy.

OptionV is a local-first financial-management app for tracking vendors, customers, invoices, purchase orders, and accounting records on macOS. Your business data remains strictly on your machine.

Local-First Storage

OptionV stores your business data (vendors, customers, invoices, and accounting records) in a local SQLite database on your Mac. It is never uploaded to a backend server.

No Developer Access

Because OptionV operates without a backend server, we do not receive, store, or have access to any financial data or records you enter.

Zero Data Sale

We do not sell your personal or business information, nor do we disclose financial records to third parties for marketing.

Full Data Ownership

You retain complete control of your data. Access, export JSON copies, or wipe your local database at any time directly in Settings.

On-Device Frameworks & Integrations

OptionV leverages standard Apple frameworks for core functionality. None of these operations transmit data off your device.

Information Collected

Vendor & customer details, invoices, POs, contracts, inventory, customer service notes, and audit log history you enter stay locally inside the SQLite database inside Application Support.

Payment Records

Recording offline payment references (wire, check, ACH) does not move money or connect to payment processors. OptionV does not process credit cards or store bank credentials.

Your Control & Rights

Export complete JSON copies via Settings → Backup & Restore. You can delete or correct individual records or wipe the database directly from the app.
